Pluk Saves the Animals - Annie M.G. Schmidt: In the Petteflat, not only does Pluk live with his crane truck, but also the rather wild boy Spijtebijt.
One day, Pluk and Spijtebijt are visiting a very large greenhouse. Inside, the Weatherman is experimenting with different climates. It's like a giant Artis zoo, but under glass. But Spijtebijt is difficult. Because of him, the Weatherman accidentally drives his jeep straight through a large pane of glass that separates two climates.
Now what? Penguins in the tropics, snowstorms over shivering elephants... All the animals are getting sick! The Weatherman must restore the climates as quickly as possible. And in the meantime, Pluk helps the animals find suitable temporary housing. What a lot of work that is!
