Detective Agency, who is guilty?

A crime has been committed in the library. The police suspect librarian Sjaak Schreef, but don't have enough evidence to arrest him. Mr. De Bruin believes Sjaak is innocent. He wants to prove it with his son, but Lev has no desire to do so. When Mr. De Bruin suddenly becomes a suspect himself, Lev has no choice but to take action, whether he wants to or not. Luckily, his friends are always ready to help him.

This is the first part of the Detective Agency Snooper series, about Lev de Bruin and his father. You might remember them from The Terrible Lifeguard. For that book, Jozua Douglas received the Hotze de Roos Award. The humorous illustrations in Detective Agency S.N.O.O.P.E.R. and the Book Mafia were created by Geert Gratama.
